Shambhala Meditation Workshop

with Henry Chapin
October 20 / 10:00 AM - October 20 / 5:00 PM

Meditation is more than just a technique for relieving anxiety or stress. It is a way of life, a way of being, a way of relating to and feeling and caring for ourselves, others, and our world.

Through meditation we can connect with our natural wakefulness and goodness by being present, alive, and awake, and resting in our natural open state. We can appreciate being a human being in this world, experiencing the fullness of what it means to be human—both the pleasure and the pain—without rejecting or trying to fix any part of that experience.

This is an opportunity to learn, explore, and put into practice the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's recent teachings on Shambhala Meditation.

The morning session (10 am—1pm) is open to all practitioners and everyone is welcome.

Please note this a full-day program for meditation instructors, assistant directors, guides, and teachers in Shambhala.
