Contentment in Everyday Life provides an exploration of how we can learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences through meditation practice. Contentment can be hard to find. Much of the time we search for contentment in things, achievements or relationships. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness, inquisitiveness and humour. Classes will be participatory, engaging and lively, and will include talks and discussions, readings, and contemplation.
Way of Shambhala is a series of courses designed to awaken us to the potential of our lives. It teaches us to live meaningfully with joy, to deepen our intelligence and compassion, and to learn to unify the practical and the profound. Daily life becomes an opportunity to further cultivate these qualities.
There is no prerequisite for this course: OPEN TO ALL!
