Shambhala Orientation Class

January 23 / 8:00 PM - January 23 / 9:30 PM

Do you have questions about where are we going, and about the path? These questions will be looked at and addressed in a classroom setting for students working on the Shambhala path and for those who are curious. These classes will be conducted on Thursday evenings, either as part of the rotation of open-house talks or as a separate event, from 8-9:30pm. The frequency is to be determined – probably every 6 to 8 weeks.

Along with plenty of time for Q & A, there will be discussions focused around varying topics such as: “Why do we meditate?”, “The history from Tibet, the founder, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and the current lineage holder, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche”, and “Traditional Buddhist teachings to Shambhala in the West”. These classes will include lectures, as well as interactive and experiential formats.
