This course provides an exploration of mindfulness meditation, the foundational views of the hinayana Buddhist teachings, and meditation in action for daily life. With meditation practice, we learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness, and humor.

Our Center remains open because of the ongoing generosity of our members and program participants. While many of our offerings are free, many classes have a suggested fee. Our policy is to not turn anyone away and we will accept any amount that you can afford, for any class. Please contemplate how much you can truly offer, and we encourage those who are able to make additional contributions that can support our generosity policy.
