Shambhala has a tradition of marking the turn of the seasons with global community celebrations on or near the equinoxes and solstices.

Harvest of Peace is a celebration held at the time of the autumn equinox in the northern hemisphere. Related to the Sakyong Wangmo (“Lady Earth Protector”) principle, this day is an opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, hear teachings by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, and celebrate the riches of our culture and heritage.

Everyone is invited. Please Register to RSVP.  We need to know that you are coming!

Monday, September 23: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

You are warmly invited to practice the Shambhala Sadhana with us Monday, Sept 23 at 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

The Sakyong is continuing the tradition of making the Shambhala Sadhana open to everyone on this special holiday. This will give us an opportunity to welcome, inspire and be inspired by those new to this amazing practice.

The Shambhala Sadhana is part of our Harvest of Peace celebration, and there will be a feast in the form of a light snack after the practice. If you are inspired to bring a food offering, please do so!
