Midsummer Night's Salon

June 22 / 5:00 PM - June 22 / 8:00 PM

A salon traditionally follows Horace’s definition of poetry: “either to please or to educate.” We’ll do a little of both—a short story read by author Michelle Welch, music by Cameron Thomas, a lively discussion of What’s This about Enlightened Society?, plus really cool and uplifting refreshments (actually a picnic!—brats, hamburgers and bean burgers).

If you are interested in hearing a personal reading (lung) of the Sakyong Mipham, Rinpoche’s Treatise on Enlightened Society, come at 4pm before the Salon.

Register here.  You will receive the address and directions, as well as a simple food/beverage assignment.
