Mahasangha Community Practice Day -- Free!

Please join members and friends of the Berkeley Shambhala Center as we practice meditation together from 9-3 followed by an exploration on the topic of diversity. All levels of practice will gather together in the Meditation Hall for the day. (Shamatha students will practice meditation at the front of the shrine room while tantrikas will practice in the rear.)
In the afternoon, we will see a video recording of a talk by Achary Judith Simmer-Brown entitled, "From Basic Goodness of Self to Basic Goodness of Society: Exploring Diversity," which will be followed by discussion.
This event will also include a catered in-house lunch and afternoon tea. Lunch price is $8. Whether one attends the whole day or not, all are welcome to join us at 3:00 PM for the Acharya's talk and discussion. This event is FREE but all are invited to make a donation of $10-$50 to support the center if you can and at least $8 if you wll be joining us for lunch - please prepay on Paypal by noon on Friday when we will placing our order.
