Mindful Beginnings - Mindfulness Classes for Children

Children who practice mindfulness have shown greater abilities to pay attention, calm themselves down, and be more compassionate to themselves and others. In this 6 week course, children will learn ways to pay attention to their breath, body, thoughts, feelings, and the world around them. This class will be taught in an interactive way using storytelling, movement exercises, mindful eating, short breath and body awareness practices, and discussion. Activities are taught in an environment that emphasizes friendliness to ourselves and others. A healthy snack is included each class.

Ages 6-9          6 - 6:45 pm

Ages 10 & UP    7-8 pm
