Midsummer Day Celebration

June 23 / 2:00 PM - June 23 / 7:00 PM

Midsummer Day is an opportunity for families and friends of Shambhala to enjoy the changing of the seasons together.  We will gather for a pot luck lunch, toasts, music and conversation.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend.

We will gather around 2 pm at 2114 Yahara Place for a llasang that will begin at 2:30 pm.  This is a purifying ceremony that involves burning juniper and it will happen outside.

Please bring a dish to share; we will provide drinks, paperware and appetizers.  There will also be sidewalk chalk drawing, bocce ball, volleyball, and other fun activities across the street in Yahara Place Park.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying food, drink and conversation together.
