Introduction to Yoga I
Yoga can help you gain flexibility, strength and balance regardless of your body type. But the real gift of a yoga practice is in cultivating awareness, curiosity, and compassion beginning with oneself.
Part 1 of this 2-part introductory series is the perfect place to begin - or reawaken your interest and resume your practice! A mindfully paced, informative class will provide you with a foundation in the practice of hatha yoga, including essential postures, correct alignment for your body, and basic breathwork.
Leila is a registered yoga-teacher based in the Dallas area. She teaches a variety of formats, with a love for gentler practices (yin, restorative) and working with beginners, those managing injury or illness, and seniors.
