The Sacred Path of the Warrior Study Class

with Jesse Miller & John Osajima
May 29 / 7:00 PM - August 7 / 9:00 PM

"The Shambhala teachings are founded on the premise that there is basic human wisdom that can help solve the world's problems.  This wisdom does not belong to any one culture or religion, nor does it come only from the West or the East.  Rather, it is a tradition of human warriorship that has existed in many cultures at many times through history."

                                                          --Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche

Please join us in a mutual exploration of the teachings contained in Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior, by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. The approach will be a book study in which reading the material as we go will be an essential part of the process.  We will begin with chapters one and two, Creating an Enlightened Society and Discovering Basic Goodness.  These two chapters introduce the view and path of the relationship between society and our fundamental connection with our own humanity.  This will be a 10 week class beginning Wednesday, May 29th, led by Jesse Miller and John Osajima.

If you don't have a copy of the text, we recommend that you purchase it beforehand at Shambhala Media. If that is not possible, we may have some copies on hand that can be borrowed.

While we hope you can join us for the entire class, we understand 10 classes is a lot, so you may join us as your schedule permits.
