May 25 / 10:00 AM - May 26 / 5:00 PM

Working with Stress through the Path of Meditation: a weekend program presented by Henry Chapin

Anxiety and depression are two of the most common reasons for why people seek meditation as a way of better coping with stress in their lives. While meditation does ultimately provide relief, ultimate liberation, we first have to relate with the causes of our suffering by looking directly into our own experience as it arises moment by moment.

During the weekend there will be meditation and contemplative practice as well as group discussion, talks and an opportunity for an individual conversation with Henry.

Henry Chapin is a long time student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche who has taught extensively in Canada, the United States, South America, Australia and New Zealand, including all levels of Shambhala Training and a variety of advanced programs.
