"By relaxing the mind, you can reconnect with that primordial, original ground, which is completely pure and simple. Out of that, through the medium of your perceptions, you can discover magic, or drala." - Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Hoyt Arboretum offers a unique collection of trees and plants from around the world, a peaceful urban oasis, just minutes from downtown Portland. We will make a two mile loop and take stops for meditation time. Bring water, a hat, something to sit on for stops and for meditation. We will carpool there, and some people may want to join for dinner afterwards nearby.

Meeting time: 5:30 pm
Meeting location: Portland Shambhala Center
