Contentment in Everyday Life

with Janet Bronstein
August 14 / 7:00 PM - August 14 / 9:00 PM

LAST DAY OF CLASS IS AUGUST 14TH

This course provides an exploration of genuine contentment, the foundational views of the Buddhist teachings, and meditation in action for daily life. With meditation practice, we can learn to appreciate ourselves and simple human experiences, free from self-aggression. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, steadiness, and humor.

This can be a stand-alone class or a complementary class to Shambhala Training Level II as part of the required sequence for advanced programs.

Open to the public.

Generosity Policy applies:  The Birmingham Shambhala Center does not wish restricted finances ever to interfere with one’s ability to receive the teachings.  If you need to arrange a payment plan or negotiate a reduced tuition, please make arrangements prior to the program by contacting Mary Whetsell at mwhetsell@mindspring.com or 205-595-8568.
