Palm Beach Shambhala

is pleased to offer an
Introduction to Meditation
The 1st Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Palm Beaches

Meditation Instruction is offered at the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Palm Beaches on the first Monday of every month at 6:30 pm.  The 90-minute sessions will include two short seated meditations and one walking meditation.  Readings from and discussions on a meditation text such as Turning the Mind into an Ally by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche will also be part of the session.

Secular in nature, the instruction in meditation complements all religious traditions.

It is the Shambhala view that every human being has a fundamental nature of goodness, warmth and intelligence. This nature can be cultivated through meditation, following ancient principles, and it can be further developed in daily life, so that it radiates out to family, friends, community and society.

These events are open to the public.  Please call the church office 561-627-6105 for directions to First UUPB or to reserve a seat in advance.  You may also check the website: .  More information about Palm Beach Shambhala :
