Dorje Kasung Security Team and Close Protection Team Training

with Douglas Webb
April 12 / 7:00 PM - April 14 / 7:00 PM

Lhasang Regiment of Northern California

In preparation for Creating Enlightened Society, Personal Path, Social Transformation, May 10 11, and 12 with Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, all Northern California and Garuda Region Kasung are invited and encouraged to attend this Security Team and Close Protection Team training.

The training will offer
key elements from both programs. The STT (Security Team Training) aspect of this program builds
on the skills and view presented in the Essential Heart of Kasungship
(EHOK) classes and our recent Annual Maneuvers program. The training also provides an introduction to the view
and skills of Close Protection Team functioning.

The skills taught in this program are essential for all Dorje Kasung
regardless of role.

Security Team Training is designed to teach the fundamentals of working with the mind under stress. The program consists of descriptions and methods for working with challenging situations, along with discussion and exercises designed to integrate the material with the view and practice of Kasungship. The training contains material drawn from a range of disciplines, including psychiatric nursing, close protection and law enforcement, as well as our dharmic lineages.

Close Protection Team Training is designed to teach preventing accident and injury to the principle during times of greatest exposure and working skillfully as a team.

For Kasung wishing to serve as CPT guards during the upcoming visit, this training is required. For those wishing to serve as Event, Court, and Desung guards, and as Drivers for the Sakyong, this is excellent training as well.

Doug Webb, Rupon is Denma Advisor and is joining us from Boulder, Colorado. Doug leads close protection teams in Boulder and serves as security advisor to the Court in Boulder.
