Contentment In Everyday Life

This course is the second in the Way of Shambhala series.
Contentment In Everyday Life expands on the experience of peaceful abiding meditation, and introduces the practice of contemplation meditation. Through practice we come to know the peace and contentment of meditation, which can then continue in everyday life. Arrogance and our habitual discursive minds agitate and distract us from basic contentment. In these classes we will learn how to counter these obstacles with patience and gentleness to ourselves and others.
This class is open to the public and the first class will include instruction in basic meditation.
If you are interested in in further classes in the Way of Shambhala, such as Joy in Everyday Life, or Fearlessness in Everyday Life, please note that this class is a prerequisite for all subsequent classes.
