Community as Path Salon
May 15 / 7:00 PM - May 15 / 9:00 PM
Each week there will be a video presentation on a different topic which will address an issue in the Shambhala mandala. The presenter in this week's program is Acharya Dan Hessey. The title is "Accessibility, Disability and the Shambhala Path ."
Due to the nature of this series, meetings will be held at the Center instead of members' homes. Each meeting will have a host (provides snacks), discussion group leader, and an organizer who will determine the readings for the next week, and contact any missing people to give them the reading list and remind them if they have a role to perform in the next meeting.
Host for this meeting- Cheryl Coovert
Discussion group leader- will be Judith Broadus at all meetings.
Organizer - An organizer is needed for this meeting.
Volunteers can sign up for these positions through their Shambhala Account. Login at https://secure.shambhala.info/database . Use the Volunteer link on the side menu.
There is no fee for the salons; however, please register online for the sessions you plan to attend. Knowing in advance who is coming will be of great help when planning for each meeting.
