Telling our Family Story
In celebration of the Parinirvana of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche
An evening of telling stories from our Shambhala, Nyingma, Kagyü, and Bön lineages and the meeting of East and West. Our story stretches all the way from India and the time of the Buddha and Padmasambhava through Tibet and its two spreadings of dharma up to the lives of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. It is a complex history—very personal and provoking, both tragic and funny, and still unfolding. How did we get here? How do we understand who we are now? Where we are going?
