April 4 / 7:00 PM - April 4 / 9:00 PM
On every April 4 the Shambhala community celebrates Parinirvana Day, the anniversary of the death (parinirvana) of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche. We will mark this 26th anniversary by practicing the Sadhana of Mahamudra during our Thursday evening meditation session. Trungpa Rinpoche received this sadhana while he was on retreat in Bhutan in 1968 and it has been practiced by Shambhala students since he introduced it soon after his arrival in North America.
The practice is open to anyone who is interested regardless of experience with the sadhana. Brief teaching about the practice will be offered.
