with Jeffrey Stevens
May 14 / 7:00 PM - June 4 / 9:15 PM
***UPDATE as of May 8, 2013: Please note, this course will be taught over four weeks (instead of the initial schedule of five weeks)***
No longer deterred or depressed by obstacles, we can include everything as part of the path. The challenges of daily life become opportunities for both contemplative practice and meditation in action.
PREREQUISITE: Way of Shambhala - Fearlessness in Everyday Life course.
Shambhala Training Levels I - V are recommended, but not required.
STAFFING: If you've completed Shambhala Training Level V and WISDOM in Everyday Life, we invite you to volunteer to help staff this program! In addition, it is also recommended [but not required] that you have taken the Shambhala "View of staffing/coordinating" training. In Denver, this was held in April 2011 with Barbara Smith and in December 2011 with Michael Levy, but it has been offered at other Shambhala Centers, too. Until a coordinator is announced, please contact Laurie Lavine, Co-Director of Practice & Education (WOS Year 1), at email@example.com, or sign up via SMCD's Volunteer webpage here.
