Held Thursday evenings, fall through spring. Alternating Thursdays with the Kagyu Mahamudra Course, January to May. Sitting 7-7:30pm, followed by periods of contemplation and discussion from 7:30-9pm. The format accommodates participation on a drop-in basis, according to your interest and personal availability. The contemplation of essential texts on the nature of mind is the main practice for this class. Discussions are based on the immediate experience of the contemplation. The point of the contemplation is to reveal the wisdom that lies hidden within each of us.

The texts contemplated are within the wisdom streams of mahamudra, dzogchen, and sutrayana. Authors range from teachers who are well known to our sangha, to obscure lineage masters of the past. Ideas for material to contemplate come from participants. Responsibility for leading the contemplation and discussion process each week is shared by participants. The class will be taking place in the Snow Lion room September 6, 13, 20, 27; October 25, and November 1 and 8, and in the Tiger Room October 4, 11, 18, November 22 and 29,  and December 6 and 13.
At times, material is chosen that carries more specific restrictions.

All Shambhala sadhakas are welcome.
Free of charge.
