Shambhala Training Level II

with Henry Chapin & Michael Stanborough
May 18 / 8:30 AM - May 19 / 6:00 PM

Shastri Henry Chapin (USA) is returning to Melbourne to teach Level II Shambhala Training - The Birth Of The Warrior.

This will be a wonderful weekend of sitting and walking meditation, teachings, discussion groups and individual meetings with Henry. .

Having experienced a taste of basic goodness, we want to go forward. Meditation practise allows us to observe how we create a cocoon of habits to mask our fear. We begin to appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness.

About Henry Chapin;

Henry is a long time student of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. He was appointed as a Shastri in 2010 (Shastri literally means “teacher learned in the texts and commentaries”). He has been teaching Shambhala Trainings in Canada, Australia, the USA and New Zealand for several decades

Henry lives in Ottawa where he is active in prison outreach and hospital chaplaincy work and volunteers at a group home for people with HIV/AIDS.
