Ringu Tulku - Mahamudra Talk to Tantrikas

April 23 / 7:00 PM - April 23 / 9:00 PM

Ringu Tulku will be giving a public weekend teaching at Shambhala Mountain Center April 19-21.

We are delighted to announce that Ringu Tulku Rinpoche has accepted our invitation to address the tantrika mahamudra students in Boulder on Tuesday evening, April 23.

Prerequisite: Must be a Vajrayana practioner - meaning you have attended Vajradhatu Seminary, Vajrayana Seminary, or Sacred World Assembly

Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist Master in the Kagyu Lineage. He was trained in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism under many great masters including HH the 16th Gyalwang Karmapa and HH Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche.

Ringu Tulku speaks excellent English, and answers our practice questions with loving care and deep insight.  His advice for mahamudra practice, both on the cushion and in everyday life, is clear, practical, warm, and insightful! He has recently published a new book on Gampopa's mahamudra teachings, Confusion Arises as Wisdom, edited by Ann Helm, a Tibetan translator and a longtime student of the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche.

Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is very humble, and calls himself the 'Lazy Lama'. To view a 30 minute film about Ringu Tulku preparing western students for a three year retreat, click here.

We are very fortunate that he has been able to include this evening in his very short trip to Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity to receive mahamudra teachings from a Tibetan Buddhist master.
