Almost everybody has experienced getting hooked – hooked on thoughts, substances or behaviours. In almost all cases we experience pain as a result of it. Powerful as the habitual patterns surrounding our obsessions are, research shows that meditation can help us access our innate sanity. During this afternoon session, we will explore the nature of our habitual patterns and experiment with techniques of bringing the mind back.
The session will be facilitated by Joseph Litven, Ph.D. Joseph is a psychologist, trainer, and coach, working in the treatment of addiction. He is also a long-time practitioner of meditation.
