Joy in Everyday Life

Pre-requisite: introductory meditation instruction, available Sundays at 10 a.m., and Wednesdays at 7 p.m. or previous meditation experience.
Joy in Everyday Life will explore teachings on compassion and joy, and how they are inter-related. Through study and practice, we can learn to recognize the patterns that keep us trapped. We can cultivate more compassion for ourselves and others, and experience joy more frequently in our lives. This course also provides an introduction to the Buddhist concept of bodhicitta, 'awakened heart/mind'.
Monday evenings 7:15 to 9:15, starting April 15th. The course consists of practice, talks and group discussion. $95* for five classes
