Rigden Weekend: Unconditional Confidence

with Adam Lobel
May 31 / 7:00 PM - June 2 / 6:00 PM

The contentment, joy, fearlessness and wisdom of the Way of Shambhala culminates in unconditional confidence. This weekend workshop, led by a master teacher in the Shambhala tradition, introduces the teachings of enlightened leadership. With the great problems now facing human society, it seems increasingly important to find simple ways to bring compassionate and strong leadership to the world, even in small ways.  This weekend emphasizes genuine confidence and steadfastness in facing the world’s challenges.

Pre-requisites: Completion of the Way of Shambhala I: Wisdom in Everyday Life, and Heart of Warriorship: Shambhala Training Level V Open Sky

NOTE: Friday is an evening program, but required Shambhala name interviews are to be scheduled individually during the day on Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  These are short, 10 minute interviews, and Acharya Lobel would prefer to have them scheduled in the afternoon if that's possible.  Once you have registered you will be contacted to set up individual name interviews.  Please contact us if you are unable to be available for a brief interview on Friday afternoon, and we will see what can be arranged.

Housing:  Please contact inthemoment@att.net with housing/hosting requests. Area maps and information available; please request as needed.

Retaking Rigden Weekend:  For those who have previously taken the Rigden weekend and who would like to retake it, the fee for retaking the weekend is $75.  Please register by selecting the "Special Price" option. If you have taken the Rigden weekend before and are only interested in receiving a Shambhala Name on Sunday (requires a brief interview on Friday and a $25 fee), please contact Marian Webster to arrange interview and payment.

Please register as soon as possible to facilitate planning and materials order. Earlier registration is encouraged.
