Shambhala Online is offering a monthly Shambhala Sadhana Event. This will be an opportunity for people to gather at SMCD and practice the Shambhala Sadhana together online with others across the mandala. The 90-minute program will also allow time for a brief presentation and Q&A with a Shambhala acharya or shastri. In order to practice with a group, you have to have taken the Enlightened Society vow and received the lung and Sun Transmission.
TOPIC: "Saved from the Depressions of the Barbarians: The Shambhala Sadhana and the Dark Ages"
PREREQUISITE: As a group practice, the Shambhala Sadhana is open to everyone who has received the reading transmission (lung), and taken the Enlightened Society Vow.
DATE: Saturday, March 2nd. Arrive at 10:45am Mountain; program begins at 11am.
Note: SMCD pays $50 to Shambhala Online to offer this Event., so we need a minimum of 5 people registered by the Monday before the event to be able to hold it. Additional heart gifts can be offered to the Teacher by designating this and using a Donation envelope..
