Understanding Shambhala Chants
with Ben Hines
March 29 / 6:30 PM - June 3 / 8:30 PM
The Shambhala chants are condensed expressions of the heart-essence of our tradition composed to help our practice, so it helps to understand what we are saying. From the fundamental principles behind the chants to the specific references they present, this class will bring new inspiration and understanding.
We will begin each evening with a short sitting period, and will finish by reciting together one of the chants presented by Shastri Ben Hines.
Different chants will be covered in different classes, and people are welcome to join for an individual class.
Suggested donation: $10 for the series, or $5 per class.
Prerequisites: None. Open to everyone.
Location: Seattle Shambhala Center, 3107 E Harrison St, Seattle.
RSVP: If you would like to attend, please send an RSVP email to Andy Gordon firstname.lastname@example.org.
