Distance running or walking is often the exercise of choice for reducing stress, bringing us greater perspective and connecting us directly to the wisdom of the body. The practices of meditation offer similar benefits, helping us cultivate stillness and nonjudgmental awareness of the mind’s activities. Join us for an extraordinary weekend of exploration as we walk and run on beautiful Vermont roads and discover a deeper experience of peace through meditation and running. The program will include meditation instruction and practice, stretches useful for runners, group discussion, and contemplative group runs. Experienced teachers will lead us on this delightful weekend journey.
This program is designed for runners and walkers of all levels. This program begins Friday evening with dinner at 6:30, and program start time is 7:30. The program will conclude Sunday afternoon at 4pm.
