Carl Zichella is at the forefront of the environmental movement. He is the Director for Western Transmission Land & Wildlife Program for the NRDC, and is the organization’s lead staff for western U.S. renewable energy transmission siting. Carl serves on a nationwide team working on renewable energy development issues.
The National Resource Defense Council is the nation's most effective environmental action group, combining the grassroots power of 1.3 million members and online activists with the courtroom clout and expertise of more than 350 lawyers, scientists and other professionals. They work with businesses, elected leaders, and community groups on the biggest environmental issues we face today.
Wednesday Dharma Night
This presentation is part of our regular Wednesday Dharma Night series which is a great introduction to the Shambhala Buddhist teachings, and an opportunity to connect with other meditation practitioners in a relaxed, comfortable environment. Featuring meditation practice, meditation instruction, a talk and discussion. We also offer an assortment of delicious snacks and tea before each session.
The current series of dharma talks focuses on the concept of Warriorship, or human bravery, and the Shambhala path of bringing the sanity and peace we encounter on the meditation cushion out into our everyday lives.
