Creating Enlightened Society will take place on the
Craneway Pavillion in Richmond, CA (East Bay)


Creating Enlightened Society is a weekend event celebrating the inherent goodness and potential of society. It is hosted by meditation teacher and Shambhala Lineage holder Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Speakers will include the Episcopal Archbishop of California Marc Andrus, Joyti, angel Kyodo williams, Google’s meditation teacher Chade-Meng Tan and Acharyas Adam Lobel and Susan Skjei. Participants will explore ways to bring out basic goodness in our lives and within our societies while gaining further inspiration to creatively engage with the challenges and opportunities of modern life.

Saturday, May 11th at 7:30 PM

There will be a special address following the Saturday Day Program. Shambhala Lineage Holder Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche will discuss the pressing questions of our time along with the vision of Shambhala.
