Shambhala Training Level II Meditation Retreat
with Peggy Eyre

Having experienced a taste of basic goodness in Level I, we want to learn more.
Meditation practice allows us to observe how we create a cocoon of habits to mask underlying fear. We begin to appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness, and that our meditation practice can help us first recognize, and then let go of the habits that keep us isolated. Our lives are completely workable, and the ground of goodness is available to us at all times.
Prerequisite: Level I Retreat
About the Presenter
Peggy Eyre has been studying buddhism and meditation since 1981, when she completed her first Shambhala Training Level 1 weekend retreat. In 1985 she attended a three-month intensive training program with Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and moved to Halifax to be part of the growing Shambhala community there. Peggy subsequently served in several volunteer positions, including a three-year post of Resident Director for Shambhala Training at the Halifax Shambhala Centre.
In her professional life, Peggy has been working in the field of marketing and communications for over 25 years.
Peggy moved to Edmonton in December 2011 to be nearer her aging parents, and is currently serving as Director of Practice and Education at the Shambhala Centre.
