Shambhala Day Celebration & Community Event

February 11 / 7:00 PM - February 11 / 9:00 PM

Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the Tibetan New Year, and represents one of the most important traditions of the Shambhala community. It  is also the day everyone is invited to make a contribution to the financial well-being of Shambhala's core services.

On February 11th, the world-wide Shambhala community will mark Shambhala Day 2013. Come celebrate with the St. John’s Shambhala Meditation Group as we usher in the Year of the Water Snake!

The event will be held in our newly-uplifted shrine room at 120 LeMarchant Road.

We will begin at 7:00 pm with a practice of the Elixir of Life Sadhana, followed by watching the Sakyong's Shambhala day address. We will finish with cake, tea and toasts!

You are warmly encouraged to join in this wonderful community event.
