 Half-Dathun
with Sarah Coleman
October 4 / 6:00 PM - October 19 / 12:00 PM
Half-Dathun - meditation retreat
Half-Dathün is two weeks group meditation retreat. It is a very powerful introduction and deepening of mindfulness-awareness meditation. Each day will consist of alternating periods of sitting and walking meditation with time for talks, study, and a short work period. During program we will have some days of silence. Meals will be served in oryoki-style, a practice of mindful eating taken from the Zen tradition. There will be regular individual meetings with trained meditation instructors. In the Shambhala Buddhist tradition a Dathün is one of the most important training programs. There is a real power and depth to practicing with a group for a longer time, and for many people, it is a big step on their path of meditation. For those who can't attend whole program it's possible to participate in the first week only. Please put information about number of weeks in notes on registration form.
The possibility of organizing this retreat is dependent from number of participants registered - final decision will be made untill 15 August 2013. Please be aware of that and wait for confirmation before you will book your ticket. All participants will be informed.
