The Enlightened Society Internship Program at Berkeley Shambhala Center
March - June, 2013
Enlightened or awake society begins with personal transformation, training and leadership from each individual. By awakening our own bravery and compassion and working with others we can bring tremendous benefit to this world. The Enlightened Society Internship & Leadership Program at Berkeley and SF Shambhala Center is a Shambhala Buddhist leadership training program emphasizing the path of profound service and community engagement. The first event on March 9th will be led by Acharya Alan Schwartz & Shasti Amy Conway and will focus on the six ways of ruling and working with wealth. This series of 5 Saturday workshops are open to everyone in Shambhala and is free to interns, teachers, and center council members and will alternate locations between the San Francisco and Berkeley Shambhala Centers.
