Joy In Everyday Life

with & Tekla Jachimiak & Tim Struttmann
February 20 / 7:00 PM - March 20 / 9:00 PM

Open to those who have completed Fearlessness in Everyday Life (FIEL), this course is a continuation of the Way of Shambhala series, which trains individuals in applying basic goodness to everyday life. The course includes practical methods for developing ongoing kindness toward ourselves and others. We explore the Mahayana Buddhist teachings on compassion, as well as the Shambhala dignity of Perky, which is symbolized by the lion and its qualities of cheerfulness, health, and freedom from doubt. By training in virtue and compassion we cultivate a gently and fearless heart, and with discipline we rouse cheerfulness, energy, and joy in our life.

The course will be taught via online instruction with Acharya Suzanne Duquette, facilitated by local instructors, Tekla Jachimiak and Tim Struttman.

Generosity policy applies.
