 Heart of the Brush: workshop with Kaz Tanahashi

Drawing with a brush is a wonderful way to work with body and mind. Learn the basic skills and contemplative process of brushwork by reproducing ideograms from ancient Chinese masterpieces. There is also time to improvise and work with large brushes.
Kazuaki Tanahashi, a renowned teacher, calligrapher, Zen scholar, peace activist, aikido master and writer, has had solo exhibitions of brushwork internationally. His publications include Brush Mind, Tao Te Ching: A New Translation, and The True Dharma Eye: Zen Master Dogen’s Three Hundred Koans. More information at: www.brushmind.net
