March 15 / 9:00 AM - March 15 / 7:00 PM
This all day reading of The Rain of Wisdom is open to everyone. This collection of more than 100 devotional songs and stories of masters of the Kagyu lineage is read aloud in its entirety by buddhists throughout the world every year at the new year.
The tradition of composing spontaneous songs that express spiritual understanding has existed in Tibet for centuries. With their vivid imagery and deep insight, the songs in this book communicate profound and timeless insight. The power of this group practice makes a potent connection to the devotion, courage, and insight of the Kagyu lineage. Please join us for what is always a delightful day of practice.
If people have The Rain of Wisdom books, please bring them. The Shambhala Centre has a few copies to lend to those who do not have a copy.
