 Swing Dance Party

A BENEFIT FOR THE SANTA ROSA SHAMBHALA SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Shambhala community and friends are invited to this fun and festive event being held nearby at the Lomitas Schoolhouse (googlemap below).
Prior to the dance, dance instruction will be given by Santa Rosa Shambhala’s own amazing West Coast swing dancer extraordinaire, David Anderson and his partner and wife, Sara Slager.
Our DJ for the evening will be David Anderson, playing a mix of blues and contemporary music for West Coast Swing dancing
If possible bring a partner but we’ll be mixing it up, so either way come on out and have fun with us!
6:00 – 6:30 pm Gather and socialize
6:30 – 7:30 pm Dance instruction
7:30 – 10:30 pm Dance and socialize
10:20 – 10:45 pm wind-down and clean up
 Please make sure to RSVP as our DJ wants to get an idea of the mix of leaders/followers for the 6:30pm dance lesson
Admission: $7-10 sliding scale (includes non-alcoholic beverages and light snacks)
Additional Refreshments: specialty appetizers, desserts and wine will be available for purchase. (The proceeds benefit the Scholarship Fund)
Shoes/attire: wear shoes that do not have sticky soles. Leather soles are preferred or well-worn comfortable sneakers. Dress comfortably in clothes that won’t get in the way of dancing.
