Ikebana Moments

"Anyone, anywhere with anything." is the spur that the Sogetsu School of Ikebana Flower Design that activates spontaneous creativity. This two-hour workshop is initiated by a stimulus occurring in the situation at that time.

No prior experience is necessary. Come play and get a first taste of this modern approach to Ikebana!

Alice Tarkeshi, a long-time student and practitioner of this sculptural art form, is pleased to offer her inspiration and expertise in a workshop that will enable students to grow into freer and fuller expression. Alice is guided in her teaching by the Wisdom of Mindfulness/Awareness Meditation practice, along with the psychology of creativity.
