Level I - The Art of Being Human

This will be a wonderful weekend of sitting and walking meditation, teachings, discussion groups and individual meetings with Shastri Henry Chapin.


Shastri Henry Chapin (USA) will be returning to Adelaide to teach Level I Shambhala Training - The Art of Being Human.  This weekend is suitable for both beginner and advanced meditators.  It provides a great introduction to Shambhala teachings and an opportunity to further support your practice in 2013.


Shastri Henry Chapin is a senior student of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche who has taught extensively in the USA, Canada and South America including all levels of Shambhala Training, Vajrayana Seminary, Ngondro Retreats and Meditation Instructor Training for shamatha-vipassana and ngondro practice.  He is a guest faculty member with the Mukpo Institute at Karme-Choling.


Henry lives in Ottawa where he is active in prison outreach and hospital chaplaincy work and volunteers at a group home for people with HIV/AIDS.


VENUE: SACOSS, Marjorie Black House, 47 King William Rd. UNLEY.  Limited parking is available.


REGISTRATION: Friday night.


REFRESHMENTS: Tea / coffee, afternoon tea provided.  There are nearby cafes to obtain lunch each day or bring your own.  The weekend will conclude with a celebration of food and wine on Sunday evening (provided).


COST: $150 full registration, $100 concession*
