Peace Vigil and Ceremony for the Victims of Sandy Hook Elementary

February 1 / 7:00 PM - February 1 / 8:00 PM

In the Shambhala-Buddhist Tradition, the 49th day following a death is marked as a time of rebirth and liberation. On February 1st (the 49th day following the Sandy Hook shooting) the Fort Collins Shambhala Center will host a Shing Kam, Pure Realm of Shambhala Ceremony, for the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting and offer aspirational prayers for the proliferation of peace and sanity in the world.

The public is warmly welcomed. No prior experience with meditation is necessary.
