Sitting practice and shamatha yoga

The evening will include a mixture of sitting practice and shamatha yoga.

Shamatha yoga is a non-strenuous type of yoga designed by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche for the Shambhala tradition. This simple series of postures are designed to develop mindfulness as well as loosen the body during breaks from formal sitting meditation.

Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced students - if coming for the first time please arrive by 7.30pm (or before 7.45pm) for meditation instruction.
