January 19 / 1:00 PM - January 19 / 4:00 PM
The Alexander Technique is a process of neuromuscular movement re-education whereby students learn the ability to choose balanced, graceful and appropriate responses to stimuli rather than habitual, tense, unbalanced and effortful responses. It facilitates high performance in all activities, including public speaking. Relieves neck and back pain. Improves power and stamina. Facilitates ease of sitting meditation practice. Restores the easy relationship to gravity that we had as children.
Three Saturday afternoons from 1 to 4 PM in the Shambhala Streetspace.
Cost: $40 per class, $100 for the series.
