Open House with Jim Sacamano

All are welcome; no charge. Shambhala Open House is an excellent and reliable way to enter into the practice of mindfulness/awareness meditation, encounter the fundamentals of Shambhala Buddhism and begin to build a regular practice. Newcomers are always welcome, and many people in our community make Open House a regular part of their lives. (Open House is every Wednesday except for rare holidays or special members'-only events.)

Jim Sacamano is a psychiatrist, meditator, and a longtime student of Chogyam Trungpa and Sakyong Mipham. Jim is well known for his teachings on the Medicine Buddha. His latest book, "Getting Back to Wholeness" takes a broader look at Deep Heeling from the standpoint of the traditional Buddhist teachings, the Five Wisdom Energies and the Shambhala Path. He addresses how illness, problems and confusion can open to health on all levels.
Mr. Sacamano will be available to sign copies of his book. The book "Getting Back to Wholeness: The Treasure of Inner Health and the Power of a Meaningful Life" will be available for sale (cash only) along with disks of his Medicine Buddha teachings.
