Drala Raising Day - Center Cleaning

January 12 / 10:00 AM - January 12 / 3:00 PM

We will have a Drala Raising at the Center to clean and refresh the space and invoke drala.  It's a joyful way to gather and appreciate the precious opportunity to practice together while clearing out negative karma and obstacles.

If you can stay until the cleaning is finished or only come for 30 minutes, that's ok. We are building our awareness of community.   Cleaning is one of those things that everyone can do. Please become a part of the foundation practice of tidying up our space to create an uplifted environment for our practitioners.

The more the merrier, so please join us.

When we draw down the power and depth of vastness into a single perception, then we are discovering and invoking magic. By magic we do not mean unnatural power over the phenomenal world, but rather the discovery of innate or primordial wisdom in the world as it is. The wisdom we are discovering is wisdom without beginning, something naturally wise. In Tibetan, this magical quality of existence, or natural wisdom, is called drala. Dra means 'enemy' or 'opponent' and la means 'above.' So drala literally means 'above the enemy.'

Invoking the drala principle is connected with organizing your environment so that it becomes a sacred space. This begins with the organization of your personal, household environment, and beyond that, it can include much larger environments, such as a city or even an entire country.
