Kitchen Sink Dharma (Westside): Relaxing and Keeping it Together

with Pamela Bothwell
February 20 / 7:30 PM - February 20 / 9:00 PM

In our busy lives, we fluctuate between energetically pushing, striving to accomplish the goals of daily life, and letting it all hang loose when we are thoroughly exhausted. The ping-pong game of struggle and collapse is exhausting in itself!  How might it be to engage fully in our lives and relax in that experience?

Join us for a discussion of living a life that is thoroughly engaged and fully relaxed at the same time.

Shastri Pamela Bothwell first encountered the Dharma at Tail of the Tiger (Karme Chöling Buddhist Contemplative Center) in Vermont in 1973. She has served as co-director of the New York Shambhala Center; Head of Practice and Study at Karme-Chöling; Head of Study at the San Francisco Shambhala Center; Ambassador to the Los Angeles Shambhala Center; and Co-Director of the Los Angeles Shambhala Center. In 2010, she was appointed by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche as Shastri for Los Angeles.
