Shaping Home: The Shambhala View of an Uplifted Home Environment
with Stephen Vosper
February 2 / 10:00 AM - February 2 / 5:00 PM
You are warmly invited to join Steve Vosper, designer and chair of the Sakyong’s Advisory Panel on Shambhala Environments, for a one day, hands on workshop where we will explore the possibility of creating an atmosphere of awake, uplifted cheerfulness in our homes. Our state of mind energizes and activates the space we live in, and at the same time the environment we call our home affects, reflects and supports our state of mind. From that open ground we can creatively engage our world.
This programme is open to all.
Generosity Policy applies. Please see here for more details and contact Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements prior to the start of the course.
Steve Vosper is a student of both the Vidyadhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. He has been practicing and studying the Shambhala and Buddhist paths for over three decades, and teaching in those traditions for more than 25 years. Mr. Vosper has been active in the design and development of the Kalapa Courts, the personal residences of both Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. He has his own design firm, Fresh Space Studio, in Boulder, Colorado where he lives with his wife Jane. Their daughter Marissa lives in New York City.
