December 9 / 12:00 PM - December 9 / 3:00 PM

Creative Crossing building, Studio 2 (next to Local Source)

Are you interested in meditating?
Do you like eating on Sundays?
Are you an activist longing for rejuvenation?
Are you a meditator longing to break out and create change in the world?
Are you curious how meditation and one's own world view affects society?

Join us on December 9th at 12pm at the North End Meditation Space for a Sunday afternoon of meditation, food, and a replaying of Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche's talk gave at the Grace Cathedral in San Francisco:

"That moment when we get up in the morning, that split-second decision about how we feel about ourselves, is really inexpressible. That moment of self-reflection and how we value our own existence has a dynamic and powerful consequence on how we treat ourselves---and especially now, in terms of society, how we treat others."

We hope to make "Meditation and Social Transformation" a monthly potluck gathering as a venue for further food-sharing and reflection on these themes.

Please bring:

--a yummy food dish
--fork and spoon
--$7 suggested donation (to cover renting the space)

See you there!
